On February 17, the first day of the Chinese New Year of the Horse, Canada's famous natural attraction Niagara Falls and the well-known landmark building in Toronto city, the Canadian National Tower (CN Tower), lit up "Chinese Red" to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

This is part of the 2026 Toronto "Happy Chinese New Year" series of cultural activities, also marks the twelfth consecutive year that the CN Tower and the fifth consecutive year that Niagara Falls have been lit up in red for the Chinese New Year.
