On September 20, Consul General Luo Weidong attended the 25th Imperial Ball held by Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT) and delivered remark. Canadian three-level political representatives and over 500 guests from all walks of life attended the event.

Consul General Luo stated that CCCGT provides a window for Canadians of all ethnic groups to understand Chinese culture and serves as an important platform for promoting Chinese culture and enriching Canada's multicultural diversity. He expressed hope that CCCGT will continue to leverage its strengths, launch more high-quality cultural activities, and promote friendly cooperation and mutual learning between the Chinese and Canadian peoples.

CCCGT is one of the largest non-profit organizations in North America engaged in spreading Chinese culture and holding various cultural events. Imperial Ball is its annual large-scale charity fundraising event. In recent years, the funds raised have been used for the construction of the centre's "Asia Garden".
