On September 20th, Consul General Luo Weidong was invited to attend the "A Moonment to Remember" Children's Performance of  Beijing Opera "The Legend of the White Snake". Councillor of Richmond Hill Simon Cui and representatives from relevant associations, media, and opera enthusiasts over a hundred people attended the event.

Consul General Luo stated that since its tenth anniversary, the Canada Chinese Opera Arts Center has made positive contributions to the dissemination of Chinese culture, the promotion of opera art, and the cultivation of opera talent. The performance provided a platform for local Chinese and friends of all ethnic groups to appreciate Chinese culture and celebrate the festival together. It was a wonderful showcase of China's fine traditional culture and a vivid example of cultural exchange between China and Canada, which further enriched Canada's multicultural culture and enhanced mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and Canadian people.

This performance is part of the second "A Moonment to Remember" series of events in Toronto in 2025. It presents the complete classic "Legend of the White Snake" while being accompanied by poetry recitation and content introduction, and has been widely praised by the audience.
