On the evening of August 8, Consul General Luo Weidong attended My Mulan Dance Drama 2025 opening ceremony in St. Catharines, Niagara Region and delivered a speech. Over 500 representatives from the Niagara Regional Government and local residents attended the event.

Consul General Luo congratulated the successful performance and stated that My Mulan has enabled more people to appreciate the richness of Chinese culture and the traditional virtues of Chinese people, allowing the spirit of Mulan to take root and flourish in Canada and serving as a vivid testimony to the cultural exchanges between China and Canada. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 20th anniversary of the strategic partnership between China and Canada. We look forward to even more collaboration in culture and other areas in the future.

My Mulan, a dance drama jointly performed by artists from China, Canada, and other countries, has been performed in Canada since 2019 with widespread acclaim.
