Consul General Luo Weidong Attends the CCCGT's Spring Festival Banquet
On February 22, Consul General Luo Weidong attended the Spring Festival Banquet of the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto and delivered remarks. Canadian dignitaries from all three levels of government and community members were also present.

Consul General Luo extended New Year greetings to the guests and stated that Prime Minister Carney's visit to China and China's visa-free policy for Canada will promote people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries. He noted the important role the CCCGT plays in promoting Chinese culture and enriching Canada's multiculturalism, and expressed his hope for further promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and Canada in the future.

This event was part of the 2026 Toronto "Happy Chinese New Year" series. Guests enjoyed performances including dance, Chinese folk music, and martial arts to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
