Consul General Luo Weidong Attended “2025 Lunar New Year Celebration” Hosted by The Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs
On February 5, 2025, Consul General Luo Weidong attended 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration hosted by the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs (ACCE).

In his remarks, Luo recognized ACCE's achievements in promoting Canada's economic development and China-Canada economic and trade relations over the years. He pointed out that in 2024, the Chinese government actively responded to changes in the domestic and international environment, and the economy rebounded markedly. China is still an important engine of world economic growth, injecting certainty and providing positive energy to a turbulent world. He introduced China's economic policy in 2025, saying that the supporting conditions and basic trend of China's long-term improvement have not changed, and expressed full confidence that China's economy can overcome temporary difficulties. He hoped that ACCE will continue to maintain its spirit, gather wisdom, innovate and forge ahead, and make unremitting efforts for China-Canada economic and trade cooperation.
