Consul General Luo Weidong Attended the 2025 "Tea For Harmony" Yaji Cultural Salon

On May 24, the second Toronto "Tea For Harmony" Yaji Cultural Salon, hosted by the Consulate General of China in Toronto and organized by the China National Tourist Office in Toronto and the Guofengguan Cultural Arts Centre, was successfully held at the Markham Civic Centre. Consul General Luo Weidong attended and delivered a speech.

Consul General Luo said that tea is an important medium for the Chinese people to get to know each other and the people of the world, and for the Chinese civilization to exchange and learn from other civilizations in the world. We hope everyone will learn more about Chinese tea culture, use tea as a medium to deepen friendship, and work hard to promote friendly cooperation between the people of China and Canada.

This event includes tea culture lectures, tea ceremony, Chinese folk music and Peking Opera performances.

In addition to the activities above, the Consulate General also set up a "Tea For Harmony" Yaji Cultural Salon branch venue at the Chinese Pavilion of the Carassauga Festival of Cultures for the first time from May 24 to 25 with multiple booths for tea culture and tourism promotion on site. In addition, branch activities will be held at the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival held from June 14 to 15.
