Attention regular Canadian passport holders: Since December of 2011, all holders of regular Canadian passports have been and are required to submit 

their Chinese Visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC). Only applicants applying for entry into Hong Kong or holders of 

diplomatic/serivce (offical) Canadian passports can submit their applications directly to the Chinese Consulate.

 For travelling into Hong Kong, holders of regular Canadian passports are granted a visa-free period not exceeding 90 days.
