On the morning of August 26, Luo Weidong, Consul General PRC in Toronto, attended the opening ceremony of the Ninth Canadian Apparel and Textile Sourcing Exhibition and inspected the exhibitors. The exhibition is organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and Jiangsu Trade Promotion International Exhibition Co.,Ltd, hosted by the United States JPC company, and co-organized by the Canadian Apparel Alliance. The Exhibition, which lasts three days, serves as a relatively highly specialized, influential international textile and apparel sourcing exhibitions in Canada.

The exhibition attracts exhibitors from 10 countries such as China, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Ghana, Peru, Canada,etc. Among them, there are around 120 Chinese companies. A Chinese brand promotion zone is set up to display  high-quality Chinese textile and apparel brands and products, with the aim to win the overseas market.
